Salary:£36,000 - £40,000 per annum according to experience ,paid monthly - tips and service charge - meals on duty
Duration:Permanent
Hours:As required
Days:5 days per week mixture of shifts
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Bedrooms:(20-30 covers per day weekdays and 50-80 covers per day at weekends)

Full-time chefs:2 chefs plus a kitchen porter

Job description:

The Fat Pheasant in Newton to the north of Edinburgh is a busy pub with a good reputation for food including game.

I am looking for a Head Chef to take over the management of the day to day running of the kitchen; cooking, ordering, health and hygiene and also to have input into the menus.

All the produce is locally sourced.

Situated in a central location, this is a great opportunity for a head chef to cook lovely quality food.

We have a busy trade at the week-end and a bit quieter during the week.

This will suit a chef who is keen to join a young business and get stuck in to all aspects of the job.

You must have a good understanding of working with local fresh Game.

This is a popular local gastro pub.
