Job description: | We are looking for an experienced chef, head chef, or sous chef ready to step up. We are a road side inn, in Lochailort, west of Fort William on the very busy road to the Small Isles. The Inn re-opened this May and shows great potential. Both locals and visitors have been very supportive and happy with the food and service on offer. We would like to focus on good ingredients, cooked simply, to produce high quality gastro pub meals. There is good local meat, venison of course, and seafood which we want to make the most of. We are ideally looking for someone who would like to make the cottage behind the Inn their home for a while and help us continue to turn this place around. The plan is to make everything in house and work with local producers which will require a lot more work, equipment and organisation, but we have space to grow. The accommodation is suitable for a couple and couples are welcome to apply whether they both work at the Inn or not. There's a good team, a lovely community to join in a beautiful location. |
