Job description:

A 10 bedroom hotel is looking for their next Head Chef. The supportive owners are looking for someone who will work collaboratively with them to maintain the high standards of cookery, and push the quality to gain recognition for the hotel.

Due to the small size of the kitchen team and the 7 day operation you must be comfortable with working collaboratively with the Sous Chef (not yet employed, so if you have someone in mind this could be a possibility) to ensure there's consistency across all days and services. As long as the services are covered the owners are happy to let the chefs design their own rotas.

Applicants must have demonstrable longevity on their CVs as the owners are keen to ensure that the incoming Head Chef is able to make a name for themselves. They're forward thinking and willing to invest in equipment in order to provide support for accolades and awards. The Apprentice is hard working and eager, but understandably cannot be left alone in the kitchen, so you must be comfortable with teaching.

The salary can be negotiated, however there's no cost for the accommodation and tips are generous.

There are front of house bar, sommelier and spa positions open for partners.
