Job description We are seeking a experienced, skilled and passionate Chef to join our team to prepare and serve food to a high quality standard during peak season in a busy, face paced pub kitchen. Duties: Setting up of stations in an organised, productive manner. Preparation of ingredients, such as cutting vegetables preparing meat an batch cooking each day. Play a role in kitchen cleanliness and organisation. Opportunities to show creativity by planning and preparing daily and monthly specials Ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to at all times, from personal and team safety, to food standards and being aware of temperature and logging procedures. Accepting, checking and signing off on stock orders delivered by suppliers. Clear communication with the kitchen team and front of house team to ensure swift and efficient service. Placing Orders remain collected and positive during service Skills: Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures Previous experience working in a restaurant or culinary environment Proficient in meal preparation techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
