Job description: | Gleddoch, one of the most prestigious hotel, golf and spa resorts located close to Glasgow is looking for a Head Chef to join the existing team in January 2016. The hotel is about to embark on a multi-million pounds refurbishment with the development of the existing restaurant and the addition of a second restaurant and afternoon tea room. Who we are looking for….. The role of Head Chef at Gleddoch is a demanding one, it won’t be right for everyone and will require someone who has considerable experience managing a high volume kitchen. As the hotel refurbishment is at the beginning of its 18 months plan, we need someone who will be able to commit themselves to the job and show commitment to employers through their previous employment. You will have experience working with high quality hotel or restaurants and have experience managing a range of chefs from commis to sous.
The evidence you will need to provide at interview: The successful Head Chef applicant will have the freedom to create menus, source the best suppliers and be part of the refurbishment to see Gleddoch House become one of the best hotels in Scotland. We are offering a competitive salary dependent on experience. |
