Job description: | The Herringbone is a brand new bar and restaurant situated a short walk from the Botanic Gardens in the city centre of Edinburgh. This is the second of three venues for this young and ambitious company that began 5 years ago. We are looking for a head chef to join our team. We are looking for a passionate and creative chef who will have input into menus which we change every 6 weeks. You will be in charge of the day to day running of the kitchen including health, safety and hygiene, stock control, menu planning and managing of the team. There is excellent scope for career progression within the company. Staff receive 20% friends and family discount off food and drinks within the company. We would consider a good sous chef looking to move up to their first head chef position. This position is available from the beginning of May but we are also happy to wait for the right candidate. |
