Sous Chef, Buchan Braes Hotel, Grampian

Buchan Braes is a 4 Star AA Rosette Hotel situated 3 miles to the south of Peterhead in North East Scotland.

We are looking for Sous Chef looking for their first step in to management as full training and support is in place with our Company Executive Chef.

You will look after the kitchen on a day to day basis, being very much hands on.

Ideally, this will suit a chef looking for promotion and strong enough to run your own kitchen but with the support of the Executive Chef for controlling costs, menu planning, rotas etc

Importance of great craft skills and ambition to achieve a consistent high-end product in a modern environment, while maintaining profitability are the main requirements for this position.

The Role comes with autonomy to build a kitchen to showcase your creative skills with the abundance of local suppliers in the north east of Scotland. Being an independent hotel group this is a great chance for someone to make a name for themselves.

The sister hotel, The Palace in Peterhead is very close by and all support needed will be given.

Great location to the north of Aberdeen and lots to do on time off such as golfing, fishing, walking. Lovely location.
