Sous Chef, Osso, Peebles, Borders

Salary:starting £28,000 per annum, negotiable according to experience, paid monthly with a share of the excellent tips
Hours:approximately 48 hours per week
Days:4 days a week straight shifts, early to finish with a break in the afternoon (Wednesday to Saturday)
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Covers:Lunch: can do up to 40 on a busy Saturday; Dinner: to 30
Food type:Mainly small sharing plate plus evening specials, soup and sandwiches also available at lunch. 90% made freshly on the premises
Full-time chefs:2/3 chefs plus kitchen porters
Accommodation:No accommodation but can help to find if relocating to the area.
Job description:

Osso is a busy award winning restaurant situated in Peebles just 25 miles south of Edinburgh.

We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our small family friendly team

With input into the menu and running of daily specials.

We are looking for someone with a good quality background and have good stability.

We are based in a lovely part of the country and have amazing outdoor attractions on our doorstep.

Well established restaurant.
