About Braco Coffee
Braco Coffee is an independent café located in the village of Braco, on the popular Perthshire tourist route between Dunblane and Crieff. It is a family run business with a small, friendly team of staff catering to both passing tourists and the local community.
We are looking for an experienced full time chef/cook to work in, and manage our kitchen preparing hot and cold food for breakfast and lunchtime service.
Responsibilities:
• Preparation and cooking of all food items on the menu
• Opportunity to shape future menu design and development
• Responsibility for stock management, rotation, ordering and replenishment
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in all assigned areas, including refrigerators and freezers, preparation surfaces and cooking facilities
• Regularly inspect supplies, equipment and work areas and work areas to ensure conformance to relevant hygiene and health and safety standards
Who we are looking for:
• 2-3 years kitchen experience preferred
• Awareness of hygiene and good housekeeping practices, possessing an existing hygiene certificate
• Pro-active and organised with attention to detail
• Must be able to manage themselves and deliver at peak periods whilst maintaining food quality and consistency
• A team player with a passion for food
• Can-do, positive attitude who can work alongside the existing team
