Salary:£30,000 paid monthly pro rata Up to £2,000 end of season bonus £250 in tips on average each month
Duration:Seasonal
Hours:approximately 48 hours per week - 8 hours per day
Days:6 days per week mainly split shifts, but to be decided by Head Chef
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Bedrooms:11
Covers:Lunch: Around 20; Dinner: 60-70; Breakfast: Up to 20
Food type:Modern British with an emphasis on fresh local seafood
Full-time chefs:4 with full brigade
Accommodation:Brand new static homes
Job description:

I am looking for a Sous chef to work in beautiful South Uist

The individual needs to be passionate & able to work in sometimes challenging situations.

The candidate will be able to step up in the absence of the Head Chef, and have enthusiasm for using fresh local produce & plenty of experience in fish & seafood cookery

Great rural location and will suit a chef who likes the outdoors, nature, photography.

A good knowledge of health, safety & hygiene, safe food practices & allergen awareness.

Position is available from March to end November
