PULSE Kitchen is seeking kitchen professionals to join a small team lead by Ayshé Jenkinson, chef owner. We run a super clean, super fast whole-food kitchen. You must have good stamina and excellent hygiene habits.
PULSE is all about weaving environmentally conscious pathways between the individual and the collective. We do that in the way we work and in the way we cook.
If you are a plantbased/vegan/transitioning vegetarian or at least veg curious person who is smart and interested in diligently doing their part for the environment for a rapidly growing green business and you have professional kitchen experience, we would like to see your CV. We prefer a general CV that details all your experience and interests rather than an industry-specific one.
We don't employ the brigade system, we have hierarchy and respect nonetheless. There's no loud music or any shouting in the kitchen. No stereotypes here.
You will be trained in prepping our dishes.
There's much to be learned in the PULSE kitchen. The cuisine is inspired by the world.
We share all tips pro rata. Kitchen and front of house team members get a fair division of the tips in addition to hourly wages.
We prep on Wednesday. Open for service Thursday-Sunday. You get at least Monday Tuesday off. Thursdays and Sundays we close at 17:00.
38/40 hours/week or job share.
