Salary:From £12 - £15 per hour depending on experience paid monthly plus Pension, tips and meals on duty
Duration:Seasonal
Hours:Approx 40 - 50 hours per week
Days:5 days per week split shifts
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Bedrooms:10
Covers:Lunch: 20 - 40; Dinner: 45 to 100; Breakfast: occasional - 20 covers
Food type:Home cooked restaurant and specials using local produce
Full-time chefs:2 plus kitchen porter when busy
Accommodation:own room in shared staff accommodation charged at £50 per week - includes all bills & WIFI or possible free based on the hourly rate
Job description:

The Kames Hotel is a 10 bedroom hotel situated in Tighnabruaich in the West Coast of Scotland.

We are looking for a sous chef to join our small and friendly team.

You must be a team player who ideally has experience in a similar role.

You will provide support and cover for our head chef.

Good stable team in place and a great opportunity to use fresh local produce that this area has to offer.

Beautiful area to live and work in.

This is a seasonal position available late March early April to end September early October
