Job description:

The Nairn Golf Club is a private members golf club founded in 1887 and made up of 1300 members.

We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team for the season which runs from Mid March until October. We are looking for someone to assist the Duty Chef with storage, preparation and cooking of all food items whilst adhering to all health and food safety legislation.

Main duties will include:

Help with the preparation and service of menu items, functions and staff meals
Managing the performance of the station that you have been allocated to ensure high levels of productivity and low wastage
To improve skills through active mentorship by senior chefs and to undertake necessary training to maintain currency of skills and certification
Accept deliveries, support stock management and control activities by communicating on stock levels and expiry
Follow the cleaning schedules for the kitchen clean the areas and sections as directed.

Candidates must have at least one of the following:

NVQ/SVQ Level 3 Professional Cookery
Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene in Catering for Supervisors in Catering
HACCP training
Food Allergy Awareness

The position is available from Mid March for the right candidate.
