Salary:£24,000 - £26,000 per annum plus extensive benefits package, plus potential of £2k service charge per year
Duration:Permanent
Hours:up to 48 hours per week
Days:5 days from 7 mixed shifts. Option of 3 or 4 day working weeks.
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)

Covers:Lunch: 20; Dinner: 80-120; Breakfast: 80-120
Food type:Modern Scottish, high end brasserie style – focussing on sourcing, creating and serving the best local seasonal produce
Full-time chefs:Full brigade of 7+ chefs plus 3 full time kitchen porters
Accommodation:Good quality staff accommodation provided along with two substantial meals per day and uniforms
Job description:

The team at the Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa are proud that the hotel continues to maintain its AA 4-star, 1-rosette rating, and after a £multi-million refurbishment they are excited about their goal to become one of the best 4-star properties in Scotland.

Creating an outstanding food experience is central to this, and they therefore, want to source and serve some of the best Scottish produce to wow guests and to stir a sense of pride in the team. This is a positive and exciting time to join.

There are excellent opportunities for training and development through the Crerar Academy and also good prospects for career progression both within the hotel and the wider estate. Equally, if you are interested in a 6 or 12 month ‘Scottish experience’ they will give you every encouragement to get out and explore the wild West Coast.

The hotel is located on the loch side on the edge of the small village of Inveraray. The village has a Coop, a news agent, an excellent pub and café, and a number of tourist attractions and shops. It is under 1.5 hour’s drive from Glasgow and has good bus service.
