Hours: | Annualised hours based on 42hr week. Hours worked after that are banked and taken when the club is running reduced business levels during the winter season, 30 days holiday per year, closed Christmas and whole month of January. |
Days: | 5 out of 7 straight shift patterns |

Bedrooms: | 54 rooms over 7 lodges throughout the estate. |
Food type: | All day Spikes bar offering a gastro pub fayre, 90 breakfast, 85 lunch, 55 dinners approx. inclusive of a bespoke 9th tee operation, BBQ’s and alfresco dining on request at lodges. |
Full-time chefs: | 9 plus kitchen porters |

Job description: | Loch Lomond golf club, an exclusive private members club situated 30 minutes north of Glasgow. Job Description: As Senior Chef de Partie you will be joining an experienced brigade of 9 chefs working in our busy Spikes Bar kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to progress to the next level in their culinary journey. The role comprises of preparing and serving traditional and innovative Scottish fayre to the highest standards for our membership. The menus are seasonally led and abode some of Scotland’s signature ingredients from the very best seafood, beef and wild game. Our daily changing specials board give access to the creative skills of the chef and with an onsite kitchen greenhouse and garden there is an abundance of produce to create that special dish. The chosen candidate will be expected to consistently push the standards of food production and be a well-mannered with good temperament to join an existing team. Responsibilities: As the role develops you will be expected to bring a wealth of knowledge, skill and passion to the team and support fellow chefs in the day-to-day business demands a busy kitchen brings. Attention to detail from preparation to execution of the dish is expected at all times whilst ensuring all orders are delivered to the members in a timely and efficient manner. Required Skills and experience: Loch Lomond Golf Club is a world class resort with a membership spanning across the globe, it is imperative our staff have the correct attributes to accommodate the needs for the business to grow. You must be approachable, friendly, hardworking, and have previous experience in similar operations to the same standards. It is expected that you are creative, and business focused on achieving margins set, whilst mindful of operational costs that go hand in hand in running a kitchen. This is a fast-paced environment so a good temperament and calm nature whilst under pressure is expected. |
