Join The Marcliffe as our Chef de Partie and play a key role in one of Scotland’s most prestigious hotel kitchens. You’ll be part of a close-knit, high-performing team, preparing dishes for our fine dining restaurant, private events, and daily service — all to the highest standard.

This role reports to the Sous Chef and Head Chef.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Chef de Partie, you will:

Lead a section of the kitchen, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
Prepare and serve dishes to fine-dining standards in line with menu and service times
Support and collaborate with the Head and Sous Chefs on daily operations
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and inventory control
Mentor junior chefs and contribute to a positive kitchen culture
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene procedures
ABOUT YOU

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a quality-led kitchen environment
Passionate about food and committed to culinary excellence
Well-organised, calm under pressure, and confident leading a section
Team player with strong communication and time management skills
Food Hygiene certification and knowledge of HACCP
Enthusiasm for high standards and continual improvement

£34,000 - £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)
