Job description:

The Links House is a 5 Star Luxury country house located on the 1st tee at Royal Dornoch Golf Club (ranked 5th in the world)

Opened in 2013 and offering 15 luxury rooms as well as a 30-cover fine dining restaurant, MARA, and a 60-cover wine bar, brasserie, The Courtroom in town.

Awarded SHA Luxury Town Hotel & Golf Hotel of the year in 2019 and 2020, plus placing 6th in the UK for Conde Nast Readers Choice award and top 80 hotels in the UK for the Sunday times in 2020. Links House is considered as one of the finest boutique offerings in the Highlands and UK.

The location in Dornoch, Scotland is extraordinarily beautiful with wonderful sporting, country life and many other small-town amenities.
Our award-winning restaurant offers exceptional Highland cuisine served with the finest, fresh local produce, seafood and game as well as possibly the finest wine list in the north of Scotland. The new concept of MARA will launch in 2021 with the continued development of The Courtroom & The Courtyard.

We have successfully expanded our overall strategies well beyond the traditional golf market towards full country sport activities (fishing, shooting, stalking, hiking, cycling and Health & Wellness) as well as the North Coast 500 car touring market.
2021 will see the introduction of several new F&B strategies which will be one of the main 3 pillars of our business. ACCOMODATION / F&B / GOLF. Through analysis of our guest segmentation, we will be delivering a more relaxed level of comfortable luxury. Allowing the finest of Scottish ingredients to speak for themselves, with minimal interruption and a knowledgeable & interactive service. Championing ‘brand’ Scotland.

Combined with this we will have a very exciting and busy F&B event schedule planned through 2021, including high level outside catering and planning our organic and sustainable farming project at nearby Seaview Farm.

The hotel is usually open from the beginning of March through Hogmanay (New Year’s Eve).

We are looking for 4 commis chefs to join our team.

These positions are available once we can open up post-lockdown, although for the right people we can provide accommodation before.
