Holidays:33 days per year - closed for 2 weeks early January
Bedrooms:12 bedroom with 8 self catering cottages
Covers:Lunch: 12 - 20 - Afternoon teas to 24; Dinner: 30 - 35 in the main restaurant and 14 covers in the tasting menu resteraunt; Breakfast: 24 - 28
Food type:3 AA modern British - Tasting Menu - Afternoon Teas
Full-time chefs:7 chefs plus kitchen porters
Accommodation:Live in - sharing in a staff house no charge - includes all bills

We are looking for a full time Commis Chef to join our kitchen team.

Excellent training will be provided and this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career in a fine dining establishment.

We work with very best local suppliers and their produce. Our own kitchen gardens provide over 80 varieties of fruit and veg for the kitchen.

Douneside House is owned by The MacRobert Trust, a grant making charity, which means we invest significantly in team training, development and our apprenticeship schemes.

Ideally you will have SVQ level 2-3 or equivalent

This is a permanent, all year round position, commencing on the 26 April 2021.
