Our now well-established and highly reputable and beautiful Rookery Restaurant, home to several special and memorable events last year and with many more planned, offering the best produce our land and sea has to offer in the elegant, contemporary Restaurant and Bar will be seeking outgoing, reliable and experienced professionals to enhance the core team during this peak season between April and November.

Our 80-seat restaurant also consists of a private dining room looking over our golf courses.

Approximately 110,000 rounds of golf are played across the 3 courses at Carnoustie in a year, which includes 2,500 members playing an average of 30 rounds each per year.

Key duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
o Working closely with the Head Chef to deliver a consistent food offering whilst learning and
developing new skills
o Preparing food and running a section during meal service times
o Playing an essential role in a team that will put the Restaurant on the local food map.
o Ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained in all back of house
catering areas.
o Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health and safety legislation at all times
o Undertake operational duties as required to support the business

o 14 - 19 Catering Diploma; or,
o NVQ / SVQ Level 2 Professional Cookery; or
o Evidence of trade experience and on the job learning

Uniforms are provided and are laundered on site.

Excellent location for quality produce including lots of fresh seafood.
