Job description: | The National Centre for the Gaelic Language and Culture is situated Teangue, Isle of Skye just 5 miles from Isle Ornsay. Would you like the opportunity to learn and develop your cooking skills while working in a College environment with an unbeatable campus location on the scenic Isle of Skye? Our Hospitality Department works throughout the year, catering to residential students in term time, and for Events, Conferencing and Short Courses during the Easter break and summer months. We are currently looking for an Assistant/Trainee Chef to join our friendly team in helping to create nutritious, flavoursome and well balanced menus for students and other guests while also catering for a variety of dietary requirements. Full support for training, staff benefits, great rates of pay including paid overtime, meals provided on shift, as well as accommodation available on site if required. Our campus also includes two green houses which can be used by catering staff who may wish to grow fresh produce on-site and which can then be included in meals being prepared. |
