Salary:Up to £22,000 to £25,000 according to experience per annum, negotiable depending on experience paid monthly plus a share of tips.
Hours:normal as required , time in lieu for all hours worked over 45
Days:5 days a week mainly straight day shifts.
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Bedrooms:15 plus 2 suites, plus 3 cottages
Covers:Lunch: Up to 40 in the bistro. 40 in restaurant. possibly 30 outside also. with no restrictions; Dinner: Up to 40 in the bistro and 45 in the restaurant; Breakfast: Up to 34; Functions: function room for up to 120 without restrictions
Food type:Bar bistro plus fine dining using fresh local produce
Full-time chefs:8 at full strength plus kitchen porters
Accommodation:accommodation available in staff block of flats, there is small charge, wifi included
Job description:

The Seafield Arms Hotel is a newly refurbished boutique hotel situated in Cullen on the Banffshire coast.

The hotel has recently undergone a 2 million pound refurbishment included a state of the art kitchen which has induction hobs, combi oven and all the high-end gadgets.

We are looking for an experienced pastry chef to work alongside our senior chefs.

Mainly day shifts 10 til finish doing afternoon teas, dessert prep and baking bread rolls, tray bakes, scones, sandwiches in small and well equipped pastry kitchen.

There is also a brand new function kitchen for use.

Working as an important member of the team.

We are ideally looking for someone who has a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar environment.

The hotel is aiming for accolades.

Using lots of local produce including local farms, fisheries and butchers. We aim to change our menus twice each season and looking for a chef who will have input into this.

Excellent scope for progression within the business and very good training will be provided.
