Cook, River Garden - Auchincruive (Catering Manager), Ayrshire and Arran

CAFÉ & KITCHEN MANAGER REQUIRED FOR
RIVER GARDEN, AUCHINCRUIVE, NEAR AYR

We are looking for an experienced and competent Catering Manager to take responsibility for our newly completed kitchen and café at River Garden, Auchincruive.

River Garden is a Residential Community for people who are on a journey of recovery from drug and alcohol addiction through engagement in Community Living and Social Enterprise.

This is a full-time position and would cover all aspects of the production and service of quality foods through our newly established café. It is anticipated that the successful candidate would contribute closely to the personal development of members of our community.
We are ideally looking for someone who has experience in:

 running a busy, creative kitchen with knowledge and hands-on experience of food
production and the required food hygiene standards.
 leading and supervising a team, or the aptitude and interest to do so.
 front of house food service, with a passion for creating a unique experience for visitors.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about food and food service to shape and oversee the development of a very special café in a unique setting.

Salary: £22000 to £24,000 per annum – salary will be negotiable and commensurate with skills
and experience.
