Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation in compliance with health and safety regulations • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and work areas • Monitor food inventory and report shortages or ordering needs to management • Assist in menu planning, food costing, and portion control when required • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service • Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding food preparation and safety Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Cook, Line Cook, or in a similar role • Knowledge of various cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety regulations • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment • Strong organizational and time management skills • Team player with good communication abilities • Culinary school diploma or relevant certification (preferred but not required) Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand for long periods of time • Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 lbs • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed Work Environment: • Commercial kitchen environment • Fast-paced and team-oriented |
