Salary:£8 per hour negotiable depending on experience paid monthly plus tips
Duration:Permanent
Hours:16-20 hours per week
Days:3 days - rotating weekends
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)
Bedrooms:60 seater coffee shop
Covers:Lunch: up to 140 in season over the day
Food type:freshly cooked using locally sourced food from main meals to light lunches - lots of home-baking
Full-time chefs:3 on site plus a kitchen porter
Accommodation:Live-out position
Job description:

The rebirth of the historic Annandale Distillery is Dumfries and Galloway's most ambitious tourism story. The spectacular Maltings Coffee Shop has a vacancy for an experienced full-time Cook. Having recently been awarded Visit Scotland's 'Taste Our Best', The Maltings is renowned for its homemade food and delicious home baking. The Maltings is proud to support local producers.

We are looking for an experienced cook to join our friendly, distillery family. You will be passionate and enthusiastic about what you do.

You will be able to incorporate your own ideas and recipes into menus.

Ideally you will have some experience in a similar environment but training will be provided.
