| Job description: | The Lochar Inn is a busy pub situated in Locharbriggs just 3 miles from Dumfries which is a busy town with a population of approximately 32,000. We are looking for a chef or cook to take over full responsibility of the kitchen. In return you will receive a full profit of the food sales. Currently working to a Gross Profit of 65%. Mainly busy lunch trade and functions including funerals and christenings. A lot of the food is bought in aside from our pizzas which our homemade. We have a proper pizza oven in place. This is a good opportunity for someone to make a good amount of money by taking the advice of the owner with regards to what the customers want. Captive market of around 8000 people in the immediate vicinity. Would suit someone with a family as there would be a good work/life balance as we only serve food until 8pm. Kitchen is closed every Tuesday. |
