Covers:Dinner: Covers: There are 96 covers in the bar / lounge area overlooking the curling rink. Most meals are from 8 to 50 people, mostly afternoons and evenings with some weekends Additionally there are some weekend events on Saturdays / Sundays durling the winter
Food type:Good home cooking - nicely plated - attention to detail and presentation is important.
Full-time chefs:At present one cook plus dishwashers

Job description:

Greenacres operates as a Curling Rink from September to April and a licensed Country Tea Room in summer.
It is situated near Howwood, Renfrewshire just 10 miles from Glasgow Airport and 3 miles from Howwood village.
We are looking for a chef / cook to join our small team.

We are looking for somebody with good time flexibility. This work might suit someone who may have taken early retirement but would still like to work part-time.

Many of the meals are booked in advance and you would know what hours you were required to work.

A pleasant environment to work in with a friendly team. Greenacres has more than 1,000 curling club members.

The kitchen is very well equipped. There are two Rational ovens, one 10 deck and one 6 deck.

This position is available now to end March / early April 2026, perhaps longer depending on how the business can be developed from now till April 2026.

Additional Information: A car is essential due to location of the Rink
