Out and About 7th February

We have 23 relief chefs out working, it still remains very patchy on relief with odd jobs coming in here and there.

Plenty adverts to apply for this week though if you are looking for a permanent or seasonal position

If you are looking for your next permanent role please do give us a call

Ian 01228 615715 - myself 01683 222830

or emails CV’s to ian@chefsinscotland.co.uk or jojo@chefsinscotland.co.uk

We are going to recognise some of our longstang relief chefs this week, as I myself have now been with Chefs In Scotland for 15 years (well on the 22nd)

Stuart Agnew has been with us longer than I have, ~I have also met Stuart a few years back. Stuart has a wide range of experience from busy bar to 3AA and pastry experience. He loves to travel wether it is john o’groats or lands end. He spent a good amount of time in Devon last year at the Rock Inn with Kenny Bruce.

Shaun Murray hasn’t been out with us in some time but that is because he is still at the last job we placed him on at Lilliardsedge Holiday Park, very close to home for him. Again Shaun has a wide range of experience also busy bar to 3AA Rosette.

Michael George has been with us now for 10 years out working the circuit, Michael shows commitment to each job he goes into. He has been known to stay in one job for a very long period of time, in fact he is booked to spend another season with Tony Vinter at The Steampacket Inn, Isle of Whithorn. I know im already looking forward to the photos of the specials :)

Keren Tweedie has now been with us for 8 years, not had the pleasure to meet but im sure our paths will cross at some point in the future. Keren is a good team player and has always given her all in each job she goes to. A likable chef as always gets requested back to most jobs she goes to. She is currently out again at The Station Hotel in Portsoy.

Taylor Mcfarlane from Canada, Taylor joined us in 2018 on Relief and has been to many places gaining a wealth of experience along the way, spending quite sometime in Skye at Kinloch Lodge, he is happy to go in a CDP or lead a team. Again working up to 3AA Rosette, currently working at Buchan Braes, Peterhead.

Michael Njoroge, I have had the pleasure to meet Michael. He is a kind hearted family man that has always went above and beyond in an relief job. This is apparent as the last 2 places kept him for well ove 6-9 months and wanted him back again. Currently out working with the Crerear Group again at Thainstone House Hotel, Inverurie.

Thanks once again for all your hard work and continued support :)
