Days:5 days per week straight shifts 8.30am to 4.30pm
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)

Full-time chefs:2 plus kitchen porters

Job description:

Whitmuir Organic Café is looking for a head chef or head cook / baker to take over the day to day running of all aspects of the kitchen including ordering, cooking, menu planning.

Everything is made freshly on the premised from scratch.

Must be a driver as we are situated on the A701 and there is no public transport links.

Straight shifts and no evening work.

We are a well established, family business.

We have a far, an art gallery, farm shop and a plant nursery on site.

You will be cooking super quality, fresh quality produce.

You will be working five days per week alongside another chef.

Job description:

The Station House Inn is located on the platform at Corrour railway station with 3 double Air BnB bedrooms. The restaurant/bar is only accessible by train or a 15 mile walk however there is an estate service road. We have excellent staff accommodation with a kitchen and sitting room.

Corrour is a 60,000 acre private estate nestled in some of the most remote, stunning scenery the Highlands of Scotland has to offer. We run holiday cottages, deer stalking, produce hydroelectricity and forestry operations. We are now looking for someone to come and join our small but dedicated in-house team from now – October 2018 with a “hands-on, can do” attitude who will assist the cook in the kitchen at the Station House Inn, a 30 cover restaurant/bar serving honest and local, good homemade pub food.
