| Job description: | 4 weeks off in January beautiful views, gastro pub, pricing,good financial control. Newly refurbished dining room, chef's table created in January along with full open plan kitchen refurbishment. I'm looking for a strong Head Chef with excellent financial control for this 5 bedroom Hotel just 10 yards from the beautiful coast of Easter Ross. You should have a proven track record of cooking quality Gastro Pub food to a good standard, and be comfortable with working within a small team. You'll have excellent support from a Chef/Owner who's running the front of house team in a manner which puts the kitchen first. He's keen to retain staff and treats his team with respect and care. The Hotel closes on Christmas day and Boxing day, and again from the first of January for a month. During this time you'll receive full pay, with any lieu time earned over the busier season going towards this. The hotel will be refurbishing the kitchen in January 2027 to include an open plan with a Chef's Table for customers to be in with the action. This is an exciting role that will benefit someone looking to make a name for themselves within an organisation that recognises talent and hard work. You'll have full use of a private 2 bedroom flat above the hotel, with zero charge for bills or rent during your tenure. There's also potential work available for a partner, with Front of House or Housekeeping roles available. |
