| Job description: | The Sure Hotel Lockerbie is a 21 bedroom hotel which re-opened its doors under new ownership in February 2019. Recently refurbished, the hotel has been given a fresh and modern look with a new bar and restaurant being designed. Under its new owners, The Sure Hotel Hotel is looking to bring a fresh and modern feel to Lockerbie. There is a gastro-pub styled restaurant. The function room serves fine dining suitable for weddings, anniversaries, and other functions for up to 100 covers. As the Head chef you will be responsible for a brigade of 4 chefs, daily delegating of general tasks. ordering, designing menus. Full uniform will be provided and meals will be provided on duty. This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand new establishment and team, with a train and bus station 5 minutes from the hotel and just off the M74. Lockerbie is only just over an hours drive from Glasgow and neighbouring cities so has plenty to do on days off. A local gym and supermarket is only 5 minutes from the hotel.
