The Opportunity: The Ancient Links (Forfar) Limited is launching a brand-new Food & Beverage operation at Forfar Golf Club, and we are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join the team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role delivering a high- quality, modern food offering across clubhouse dining for members and visitors alike. You’ll take ownership of your section, maintain excellent standards, and contribute to a food experience that reflects both the club’s heritage and current market expectations. Key Responsibilities: ï‚· Ability to run a kitchen section confidently during service ï‚· Prepare, cook, and present dishes to consistently high standards ï‚· Support seasonal menu development and event preparation ï‚· Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures ï‚· Maintain excellent cleanliness, organisation, and portion control ï‚· Assist with ordering, stock rotation, and minimising waste ï‚· Work collaboratively with the wider F&B team to deliver reliable, professional service ï‚· Support and guide junior kitchen staff where required About You We’re looking for someone who: ï‚· Has their NVQ / SVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent experience) ï‚· Experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis ready to step up ï‚· Ability to run a section independently ï‚· Strong attention to detail and consistency ï‚· Positive, team-focused attitude ï‚· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event days (annualised hours contract) ï‚· Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate If you’re passionate about quality food and want to be part of a respected golf club environment with varied service offerings and event work, we’d love to hear from you.
