| Job description: | Duisdale House Hotel is an 22 bedroom, award winning, 4 Star Hotel with 2AA Rosettes for our cuisine. Situated on the beautiful island of Skye in North West Scotland, 8 miles from Broadford and 33 miles from Portree the main town. We are looking for a Pastry Chef to join our team. Working under the head chef and Sous Chef as part of the motivated, friendly team. You will have a good knowledge of safe practice, health & safety & allergen awareness. There is a great friendly stable team in place working to a high standard in a well equipped kitchen using fantastic local produce including herbs grown in our own garden. | Job description: | This well renowned golf and spa Hotel is looking for a Pastry Chef de Partie to strengthen their existing team before the summer season gets into full swing. You'll be working under an exceptional F&B Director who's developed the food offering into one of the most exciting in the country, and who understands the need for a work life balance. This is an exceptional country house estate with a Championship Golf Course and a range of outdoor activities, nestled in the beautiful Scottish Borders but little more than an hour's drive from both Edinburgh and Newcastle. The hotel, golf club and grounds have undergone an extensive refurbishment, building a separate extension to feature 58 additional rooms as well as a luxurious spa, a state-of-the-art meeting space and 60 lodges. The scale of the operation means that you'll have plenty of scope for development. The role will require some flexibility as there are 3 kitchens which you'll be able to move around in.
