The Crib Community Coffee House is a little hive of activity, situated in a suite of buildings aptly named The Epicentre and run by Outreach Community Church. We believe that as a church we can create a space for our local community and further afield to meet up over some of the best coffee and food in the area – this isn’t your average church tea room. We host a huge range of activities in and around The Epicentre drawing in a varied customer base but each one matters as soon as they walk through our doors. As a not for profit business we are not about competition but we strive to make everything we do an act of excellence and to the best of our ability and as a team we are always coming up with fresh ideas to grow our already incredible vision for the future.

he Crib Community Coffee House is looking for a part time cook. They will be joining an already great team of people at The Crib. We are looking for people who are passionate about cooking and delivering our menu with enthusiasm. The successful candidate will be excited about menu development and innovation. You will be self motivated and a great team player. This is an opportunity to show your creative and imaginative side and help us develop our existing menu and play a key role in our continuing success.

Duties will include all preparation and delivery of existing menu, menu/recipe development, devising and delivering weekly specials. You will also be familiar with stock rotation, compliance with all current regulations and safe practice. You will have the opportunity to have input to business development and will bring a knowledge and an awareness of current market trends. Formal qualifications required would be Food Hygiene Certificate as a minimum.
