Out and about Friday 11th October

We have 68 relief chefs out working all over Scotland.

Relief has been steady this week, the availability for immediate relief is still quite tight and availability from the 25th October is better.

I have counted all the chefs we have had registered this year and the total was 248.

Jessica and Jade have been getting lots of CV’s sent out, interview and trials confirmed.

Leon Edgson is work in 2 places he is helping 2 days per week at Rocpool Reserve and full time at Braeval Hotel.

Glenn Richards is at Platform 1864 in Tain.

Bobby Ainsworth braved the ferry up to Shetland and is at The Sumburgh Hotel.

James Avery is at Inverlochy Castle Hotel until the end of the month.

Lee Pattie is helping out at Eden Court Theatre.

Chris Rush is at Grantown on East.

Salvi Batalla is in Skye at The Duisdale Hotel.

Jo Fenner is at Auchen Castle near Moffat.

James Buckley is at Scotland’s Hotel in Pitlochry.

Alan Roberts is at The Glenburn Hotel in Rothesay.

Roddy Mackinnon is at Cawdor Tavern in Cawdor.

Out and About Friday 4th October

We are now into October. So far so good with 19 jobs confirmed this week with a few establishments still to get back to me.

In total we have 71 relief chefs out working 😊

Out and About Friday 20th September 2019

We currently have 76 relief chefs out working, the relief jobs are still coming in and we expect it to start declining mid-November.

Please can all our relief chefs get in touch to let me know what your availability is over Christmas and New Year. Double time is payable on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

We are available Monday – Thursday next week to meet chefs here in Moffat please get in touch to check our availability.

Michael and Jessica have both been away this week and its been great to see how the brewery side of things work. Selling beer, planning the delivery route etc but I will leave the brewing to the professionals 😊

We currently have 84 chefs out working.

I have gone back though our relief books and we have 14 chefs out working that we have final billed for.

Leon Edgson at Carrbridge Kitchen he started back with them on the 9th April.

Pawel Cimek at The Fife arms in Braemar, he started there on 3rd April and he helped out Ransacked Black Oven over the Edinburgh Festival and is now back at the Fife Arms.
Jason Paxton also at The Fife Arms, he started the on the 21st January
Allan Baird started at the County Hotel in Stornoway on 16th April.
Scott Mckie at The Moorings Hotel Fort William on 3rd May.
Vytis Baltrunas at The Classroom on 28th May, he also helped out Knockomie House Hotel for a few days.
Alex and Marthina Floyd are both still at The Lovat Loch Ness they both started 29th May.
Andy Westwood and Stephen Flindall are both at Tigh an Eilean Hotel, Andy started 7th May and Stephen 12th June.
Graham Smith returned to The Balmacara Hotel on 5th June.
James McPherson is at The Caroy House and started there on the 30th July (excellent feed back)
Steven Cameron is on-going at the Mustard Seed where he has been since 17th June.
Shaun Gibson was sent to Ardvasar Hotel on the 20th June then got moved to the sister Hotel, Hotel Eilean Iarmain.
Michael Njororge is still at the Onich Hotel he started there on the 29th January.
